Outline planning permission had already been refused for 12 x 2 bedroom flats in 2 x 3 storey blocks, when the job came to Planning Precision. This refusal was followed up by a much improved planning application for 12 x 2 bedroom flats in 3 blocks with a more sympathetic design. Although locally and for political reasons rather than any material planning consideration, flats are not wanted on this site.  The particular issues involved in this matter were land stability, protected species and local political pressure with over 130 objections to the proposed developments.
